Making Climbing holds at home
I am creating this guide to answer the constant stream of questions I receive on social media from people eager to start their own shaping journey. Consider this a documentation of everything I have learned through trial and error.
Ethos Diamond Tee
To be honest, I originally designed these just for myself. But after posting them and getting so many messages from you guys asking where to get one, I decided to make them available here.
As an independent creator, your support actually means everything. It’s the reason I can keep building Ethos, so thank you for being part of it.

THE STRATUM SERIES
I’ve spent a decade setting, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that precision is usually the thin line between sending and falling. I found myself constantly blocking holds to force more accurate movement, but I wanted something more intentional than just slapping a second hold over the first. That’s where this range comes in.
I shaped these with a built-in flange to act as a "pre-blocked" edge, forcing the climber to hit the mark perfectly. On the flip side, a shallow taper keeps the holds strictly directional, so the movement you visualize as a setter is exactly what happens on the wall. Ranging from 3mm to 10mm with a mix of sloped and incut profiles, these are about raw accuracy and high body tension.
